How did you get connected with Near Me?
Mike Rosenbaum initially met Adam Broadway, Founder and CEO, at a networking dinner right here in San Francisco. The event consisted of about 20 startup entrepreneurs looking to simply networking and possibly achieve funding. For Mike, he was on the lookout for his next venture. He was introduced to Adam by a mutual friend, Audrey M who had been and advisor for Adam at the time.
As they listened to each other’s stories, Mike loved what Near Me was doing and was eager to get Spacer up and running. With Near Me’s availability to create a marketplace to without having to hire our own developers to test over and over what works and what doesn’t, it aligned perfectly with our vision. Speed to market - without needing to hire full stack developers to build from scratch. Getting live quickly was one of our main goals and Near Me has enable us to do just that. Developing a marketplace was well out of the picture, as we were aware the platform already exists. We thought to ourselves, “why reinvent the wheel?”. What challenges have experiencing since purchasing Near Me?
Near Me has been great so far. We haven’t experienced any issues using the platform. Using a SAAS company, there are typically limited customization but the flexibility has worked great. With Spacer being located in Australia, it has taken some adjusting as Near Me is located in the United States. However, Near Me’s development team is located in overseas so it works to Spacer’s advantage. The support has been great and getting what we need done in a timely fashion.
